Learn why PMU Artist are making the switch to NANOBLADING!
Different Tools, Similar Results.
You’ve probably heard of microblading , a popular solution for enhancing your eyebrows, but what about nanoblading? Nanoblading is similar to microblading but the main difference is that nanoblading uses a smaller needle than microblading. Both nano brows and microblading are viable options for those in pursuit of fuller, darker-colored or more precisely shaped eyebrows. The two semi-permanent techniques result in fine, natural-looking hair strokes that stand up to water and sweat. Although perceptions of pain are highly subjective, the fine, flexible needles used during a nanoblading treatment are reportedly less painful than the harder blades used in microblading Nano provides precision and accuracy improves because of the smaller needle, allowing for more natural looking results. A smaller needle also means less pain, trauma to the skin, and bleeding. Another difference involves how long results last. Microblading may only last up to 12 months, whereas nanoblading may lasts up to 3 years!
Not all skin types are good candidates for microblading compared to nano brows, pretty much anyone is a canidate.
Is there any down time?
Just like with any permanent cosmetic procedure, yes. Nano brows are tattoos, so expect some minor redness and swelling for a day or two post-application as your skin heals. You should avoid sweating, swimming, sun exposure and applying any skincare products to the brow area for one week. It will begin to lightly peel around day three, and last for up to four days total.
